The service

Gloss builds short language lessons from text you select on your Mac. It needs macOS 13 or later and an internet connection.

Trial and billing

A subscription costs USD 19 a month or USD 149 a year, and starts with seven free days. A card is required to start.

If you do not cancel before the seven days end, your card is charged and the subscription renews each period until you cancel. Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. See the Refunds page for what happens to charges.

Lessons are generated by AI

Lessons are written by an AI model and can be wrong. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial or other professional decisions.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to break it, resell it, or use it to process text you have no right to process. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your text and ours

You keep your rights in the text you select. Gloss, its name, design and software belong to KBR Global Creative Consulting Ltd.

Liability

Gloss is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect.
